When should I come to the shelter?
That depends. Some animals are available for adoption the
same day they are on television. Others will be available the next
day.
What if more than one person wants the animal?
Each person that arrives at the shelter is given a chance to interact
with the animal. After that, a silent auction allows each
interested potential owner to bid for the animal. The animal goes
home with the highest bidder.
When can I take the animal home?
All animals leave the shelter altered, so your new pet will remain in
the shelter until it has been spayed or neutered. As soon as
that's done, you can take your new pet home! |
